I would like to do illustration ads, I like the illustration style of these 1950's cartoons.  I'm not set on this but it is something I was experimenting with over the weekend.  I'm thinking of a little native american boy as part of my designs, dunno if it will stay this way or not.  Keep plugging away

Stationery

So I am going to go back and make my envelope a paper version of what I wanted it to be.  So I guess I'll throw the version I brought to class in as a specialty item with whatever else I was creating.  Anyways I have a couple of tweaks to the set to finish up before review.

Still have to print out a actual letter head with type on it and do a few more things in the building process.  Tomorrow it should all be done! I'll post the final products soon

So the stationery is coming along great.  I've been doing a lot of planning and building it all, and I should have pictures up by tonight of close to done progress of the work. Let me know what you think once its up later!

So these are looking like my stationery's first run of the mill front and back.  I got my envelope built but my camera died tonight so I couldn't take a picture of it all.  However I will be bringing in my first mock ups to class tomorrow.  Also I got my friend from GA Tech to get me into the laser lab to get my card done.  Well hopefully it all works out, but progress is definitely going well and everything is working out like I intended.

I haven't decided on which idea I want to go with.  A more design based back could be good, but also doing more realistic bark is another direction I'm working on.

Inkaid

So this is a company that makes a product for a converting surfaces into ink jet acceptable.  You basically just apply it to whatever you can run through a printer, and it will work with ink jet.  It isn't that expensive but if people want to go in on some, I would do it.
