I go to little white lies a ton now for inspiration but I also usually watch movies a lot to gain inspiration.  Listening to music helps me too.  Alot of the time I stumble through the art world online

this is one of my favorite bands and I just went to their site and found all these new shirts they just had made.  They are pretty ridiculous but the art on them is phenomenal!

Alamo Posters

early idea for lucini

So here is what I'm thinking.  I'm sticking with Lucini but I'm not going to worry about the fact that it may or may not be from Italy.  I know it doesn't quite look like it yet, but I want to have my script that Lucini is written in form a profile of a face with some details of nostrils, eyes and mouth.  I'm still working on the sketch for it, but I want the lines to trail off the face and wrap around the bottle.  I want really bright colors on the bottle to contrast with a really dark green bottle.  Let me know if you think of this direction.

Creative Olive Oil Designs

These are all great olive oil designs I found.  I want to try and start getting rid of the idea of what olive oil designs seem to be.  It kind of occurred to me yesterday that you can really do anything with this, just need to find a direction I guess, and I know its ridiculous to start thinking like that just now.  I'm excited to stick with this olive oil thing.

Revised Junkyard Ad

revised a little bit.  I dunno if I am gonna keep the get down and dirty part. haha just thought it was funny till I make a decision on that tag line.

Drive

If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and go see Drive with Ryan Gosling.  First of all its cinematography is phenomenal and all the acting is amazing.  The music is very 80's which I love.  The movie posters and ads in it are great too, still very 80's.  All the typography they used for ads and in the movie is great and it fits so well with the soundtrack.  The movie is a bit violent at times just to warn you though.
